Multiple IM services I use the heck out of the internet. I am not a developer, I don't make a ton of money, I just use the internet. One of the biggest uses I have other than email (which is mostly done on my iPhone) is instant messaging. As there are choices in email there are choices in IM and to keep in contact with everyone you have to run every platform or use a IM manager. I have used two and here are my thoughts. Meebo: Meebo is a web based IM manager that covers MSN, AIM, YIM, Google chat and ICQ. The nice thing about meebo is you don't have to run any extra programs, just open a new tab or browser and it is always on. The down side's are the pop outs don't always work, it does not auto respond with your away message, your away message space is limited. Trillian: Trillian is free for download, just Google search it. They have an upgraded pro version which I purchased a few years ago. I still can't figure out what else it did so the free version is fine. The down side to trillian is you can't use Google messaging on it and you have to open a new program to run it. Otherwise it does everything I need it to do.
